hor·ti·cul·ture

noun – the art or practice of garden cultivation and management.

Formal training in horticulture will teach you to appreciate how things grow, although I have not sought out a path through academia, I have spent years accumulating knowledge for the sake of knowledge. I have traveled to places all over to see the vast range of both flora and fauna. I have been fortunate enough to learn how to cultivate these plants and partake in the medicine they provide.

Perennials ~ Indoor Plants

The slowest of the performing arts, nature has once been called. It seems to make sense to me that seasons come and go, and you learn to appreciate the early, middle, and late-season blossoms. As you age this cycle of the seasons happens faster and faster. In the practice of stewardship, we are learning to participate in these cycles in the direction of abundance.
